Buying a dress of your choice for any special event is a once in a life time affair. And you want your dress to perfectly fit your curves and be comfortable as well. And so do we!

OnlyGowns.com is just ideal for getting a perfect-fit costume. A perfect blend of materials set to endow a desired outstanding look.

Dear customer don't guess your size!!!

If you wear a size 22 jeans it doesn't mean you'll wear a size 22 prom gown or formal dress. Evening wear is cut very differently. You could take a smaller - or larger - size. Wedding gown sizes are different than street clothing sizes, usually a few sizes larger.

Gown sizes are based on your measurements. If you’re right on the edge of two sizes, order the larger. You need to select your gown to fit your largest measurement size.

Example: If your bust equals a size 14, your waist a size 12 and your hips a 12, you would select the 14.

You must measure before ordering!

Formal attire tends to run smaller than everyday clothing. Most people wear a larger size in formal wear than they do in everyday clothing. use the size chart below as a guide. For full skirts, hip size does not matter. Remember that for a perfect fit, alterations may be needed.

To determine your size follow these simple instructions

9) Full Shoulder / Back:
Measure from tip of shoulder (where shoulder meets arm) across upper neckline to tip of the other shoulder.

10) Around Upper Arm:
Required for short and long sleeves only. Measure around the fullest part of your upper arm - above the elbow and below the shoulder.

11) Sleeve Length:
Required for long sleeves to wrist. Please measure from the tip of your Shoulder to desired end of sleeves. Measure with your arm slightly bent. Not required for sleeveless or short sleeved.

12) Around Thighs:
For trousers only.

13) Around Knee:
For trousers only.

14) Around Ankle:

Other things you should know...
• Any gown that is TOO LONG may EASILY be hemmed by your local seamstress.
• Straps may need to be adjusted, or the dress might need to be hemmed. Often with those that are "busty", there is a need to remove the cups that are already included in the gown to allow for the bust to be correct
